Hudson Barbara Skinny Jeans For Men Outfit

I seem to have gained an addiction to women’s skinny jeans for men, since dipping my toe in this new and undiscovered area of fashion (at least for me) I have been continually on the look out for more pairs to add to my collection. The massive choice available compared to the relatively small selection in mens’s denim will ensure my obsession will keep me occupied for some time! My latest acquisition could very well be my favourite pair so far.

The Hudson Barbara High Rise Skinny Jeans in Hideaway wash are the most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve ever worn. The moment I first pulled them on, I realised the comfort factor was through the roof! Despite being extremely skinny, there isn’t even a hint of the slow crushing feeling that so many other slim fitting jeans can give, even after long hours of wear. In fact they are so soft and luxurious to the touch I would enjoy just lounging about the house wearing them.

This cut has a high rise of around 10″ like my other pairs of women’s jeans I’ve worn, which is ideal for men to allow plenty of room in the seat area. The inseam comes in at around 30″ – a touch longer than I would prefer and is the reason I chose to turn up the hems. The wash at first glance just appeared to be a simple light mid blue, however under closer inspection highlights the true depths of the colour. It is a fantastic shade which complements many of my men’s fashion blog outfit choices.

I combined these Hudson skinny Jeans with another one of my latest slim fit sweaters from ASOS, a Chunky Cable Knit Jumper With Colour Block, along with my Topman White Fashion Trainers. Please let me know what you think of my latest women’s skinny jeans purchase!

The jeans are such a gorgeous colour. 🙂 I like the rest of the outfit too though as that pullover looks great. 🙂

Great set of shots overall – I love the choice of location.

Yeah, I think these might be new favourite jeans (for now at least!)

And thanks very much 🙂 I quite liked this location too!

After reading your blog about Barbara I am very keen to wear them too.
You look great in these jeans. They seems very light and perfect for late summerdays. Are the Hudson Barbara still your favourite?

To buy it in internet I am not sure about the size. Do you recommend the same size like mens jeans? I wear Diesel, Cheap Mondays and Nudies in 32 and 33.

      Hi Fabian,

The Barbara are still one of my favourite pairs. Size wise I wear a 26, in mens jeans I wear either a 30 or 31 in Diesel. Maybe a 27 or 28 would be a choice for you in Hudson 🙂

Wonderful pair of jeans worn by the model, I am just speechless to explain the feeling.Should I try them with leather jackets or tweed suits?

Hey George, you could easily wear them with both leather jackets or tweed suits 🙂 (I’ve worn my skinny jeans with both).

I am a huge fan of Skinny Jeans- I have been toying with the latest additions lately, but jeans are still my BIG favorite. I am not sure how I could get dressed everyday without a pair of jeans. I admit I fall in and out of love with each of my pairs of jeans constantly – I am not going to fess up just yet as to how many pairs there are

      Hi Jessica,
Yeah, jeans are one of my favourite items of clothing! It’s so easy to ‘collect’ all sorts of different brands and washes!
