Autumn Grey Sweater At the Beach
The location for this outfit post was a throwback to my younger years, we visited Burnham On Sea where many a childhood vacation of mine was joyfully spent. In a way it hasn’t changed all that much and for better or worse is very much stuck in a time warp. During this trip down memory lane it was a particularly cold day, however it gave me the opportunity to wear one of my new slim fit sweaters I acquired for the upcoming cold weather!
I choose to wear this thick heavy duty jumper in grey from ASOS which sports a chunky neck design, perfect on days like this when the temperature has dropped. Despite its bulky appearance the sweater is still very close fitting which I am a big fan of, additionally the sleeve length was perfect! One of my pet peeves is when sleeves are too long and fall way past the wrist, something that happens all too often with many clothing brands. So another plus point to ASOS here.
I teamed the sweater with my current favourite denim jeans of the moment, my women’s skinny Citizens Of Humanity Rocket High Rise Crop Jeans in Aura which I wore on my men’s fashion blog previously. They have stretched a little more over the last few wears, which is only a good thing, increasing comfortability even more. Footwear was another new purchase, a pair of low top lace up White Fashion Trainers from Topman. Nice, simple and sleek which are an easy pairing for most outfit ensembles. The finishing touch of course was my beloved Omega Aqua Terra Seamaster Automatic Watch (Buy here). Please let me know what you think.
Isn’t it wonderful to revisit a favourite childhood haunt and find it to be still pretty much the same? 🙂 There’s something quite comforting about that.
The sweater is fabulous. That’s quite an usually light shade of grey and it’s very refreshing to see. I’m quite a fan of greys in general. 😀

Yes, it definitely is comforting, it’s almost like the place has been stuck in a time capsule since we last visited! 🙂
Grey is one of my favourite clothing colours, for a long time pretty much everything I wore was a shade of grey 😀
