If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will have seen me feature Gentlebands numerous times, to great applause. This high praise is due to their premium quality and outstanding collection of stylish and unique pieces (even my Dad loves his necklace—which he wears every day!).
In the following review, I will check out their engraving option, which allows you to personalise your ring purchase with your own text to make it truly unique.
Gentlebands Engraving
Even though Gentlebands’ selection of striking pieces stands strong on its own, you can elevate their good looks even further with a custom engraving.
During the ordering process (and after choosing your size from the admittedly large choice!), you will observe the custom text box. Once in this section, you can add your own custom text (up to a maximum of 30 characters). Thanks to the large number of letters you can use (and several different font types), you can add a meaningful word, sentence, quote, significant date, and more (I actually chose my blog name, abbreviated to ‘YAG’).
The quality of the engraving is superb—very detailed and clear (although certain materials, such as a solid black ring, will make it much easier to read).
The custom idea is perfect if you want to treat yourself to a stunning new ring (with an important date or phrase). Alternatively, if you gift a ring to a partner, friend or family member, a personalised engraving is an excellent way to make the present even more special (and significant).

First up, we have the absolutely stunning Allosaurus model (aptly named thanks to the inclusion of dinosaur bone fragments). It also boasts tungsten carbide and meteorite, which creates an overall fascinating piece.
I paired this ring with a navy blue suede jacket and black button-up cardigan to add an element of texture. I wore rose-gold aviator sunglasses with a blue tint to complete the look.
Next, we have the moody shadow-forged ring, crafted from deepest black tungsten with a crown of sapphire gems. This understated design offers a minimalistic style, yet it is still eye-catching. For my outfit choice, I opted for a clean-looking black leather jacket, which is complemented with a burgundy zip-up top (for a striking contrast). Extra accessories include silver sunglasses and a Rado Skeleton Watch.
Finally, we have the brilliant parachute style, totally different from the previous two pieces—a tungsten ring bathed in a gold hue featuring a gold cog print running along the outer body of the ring. If you want something that looks totally different, this is an excellent contender!
I matched this piece with a smart tan suede bomber jacket thrown over an olive knit. Again, I completed the ensemble with a hexagonal pair of brown/gold sunglasses.
