David Outwear Marziano Jacket Review
You can never have too many jackets in your wardrobe (I see this as a mantra to live by!), so when I was introduced to premium men’s retailer – David Outwear, I was overwhelmed by their collection on offer. I will be looking closely at the brand’s Marziano Jacket in my latest blog post review.

There are undoubtedly an almost never-ending amount of men’s brands in the world today, most of which offer copycat products that are often throwaway pieces. However, after browsing David Outwear’s extensive range, I was more than impressed with their offering of different outwear jackets and coats. In addition, almost all of their leather jackets are crafted using vegan-friendly PU (Polyurethane), which is virtually undetectable from genuine leather.
For my review, I will focus on the David Outwear Marziano Jacket, which is one of their most popular products.
Update – 2.5 Years Later
It has been a couple of years since I first posted about this jacket, and now I feel it is time for an update! – Especially for new readers interested in the brand’s collection of coats and jackets. I have added additional info to share my current thoughts on the style, its quality, and also value for money (especially relevant after almost three years of regular wear).
Style & Design
As soon as I unpacked the parcel, I was instantly impressed; my fingers touched the PU leather, which had a smooth, almost silky texture. The style is a mix of classic, timeless, and modern all at once. The jacket features a traditional zipper fastening, flap pockets on either side and a zippered pocket on the left sleeve.
I’ve always loved the idea of a hooded leather jacket, and David Outwear pulls this off with ease (often, brands have flaws with a hood addition to outerwear, where it fails to sit correctly, both worn and unworn). Furthermore, the colouring is that perfect hue of a medium brown, which pairs with almost anything and will stand out, especially during the autumn season! In short, the style of the Marziano Jacket is spot-on, truly a welcome addition to any man’s wardrobe!
Even after a couple of years, the style offered by this quality jacket is on-point – the soft and sleek material still looks fantastic and is a welcome addition to any fashionable guy’s wardrobe.
If you are looking for a great ensemble, consider matching this PU leather jacket with a pair of dark skinny jeans (such as a pair of Nudie), a printed T-shirt, a tailored knit, or even paired with a wrinkle-free OTAA shirt for a more dressed-up look. Additionally, grab a pair of distressed high-tops (Golden Goose are always an excellent option!) or even suede Chelsea boots for a smart-casual vibe.
Size
In men’s clothing, I sit between an XS and Medium (depending on the brand); with the Marziano Jacket, I went for the smallest available, which is a size Small. Although I will admit, it has a relaxed fit on me compared to other jackets I own. However, this is not a negative; it is a breath of fresh air to wear something not super fitted on my frame. There has been a resurgence of oversized clothing in the fashion world, so this style is certainly on-trend.
Value For Money
The jackets and coats from David Outwear not only look the part but are more than competitive when it comes to pricing! Sitting just under $100, so will not break the bank on your journey to acquire a new jacket to add to your army of men’s clothing items you already own.
Now comes the important part—the value for money after several years of wear. Fortunately, there is nothing to fear; this David Outwear jacket still looks just as good as it did when it first arrived in the post! No damage can be seen, the fit is still excellent (the jacket has not stretched out), and there is still that amazing sheen on display across the fabric.
Overall
My first encounter with the David Outwear brand was nothing short of positive. It has an amazing design, a great fit, and a fantastic price point! If you are looking for a vegan-friendly PU jacket that is also fashionable, look no further than the Marziano Jacket!
