Beau Domaine was created when Brad Pitt and the Perrin family met (after Pitt acquired the Miraval estate – thanks to an interest in wines), and they shared thoughts and ideas as they strolled through the vineyard (and its 13 grape types). The focus soon shifted towards grooming (and with the help of Professor Teissedre), they concluded that they could offer a fantastic new collection of face care products formulated using the vinous materials available after the production of the wine, and thus, Beau Domaine was born. Furthermore, Brad is a strong advocate of the brand and uses the products in his daily skincare routine – which is an amazing stamp of approval.
For this review, I will be taking a look at ‘Brad’s Complete Routine’, which is understandably one of the brand’s top sellers! So, let’s dive right in!
Brad’s Complete Routine Contents
The kit includes three different elements, which I will discuss in the following points –
The Cleansing Emulsion
First up, we have the cleansing emulsion, which provides a deep clean for your skin (while also creating a protective barrier). Your skin will embark on a refreshing journey, enjoying a newfound level of comfort and long-lasting hydration. Furthermore, any excess oil and impurities will be removed (without causing unwanted dryness or irritation), which also helps achieve a youthful appearance with repeated use.
The Serum
Next, there is the serum, which has been formulated to combat uneven skin tone, reduce firmness, and minimise the appearance of wrinkles. By practising regular use, you will begin to witness your skin looking more radiant, smoother, and fuller.
The Cream
Finally, we have the cream, which aims to refresh the skin’s texture (thanks to its strong antioxidant protection) while also elevating the overall complexion. Additionally, it absorbs quickly without leaving any unnecessary residue. As soon as you unwrap the admittedly fancy packaging (more on this later), you will be in awe at how ‘premium’ the collection looks. Each bottle (of which there are three in the set) is individually boxed. Upon removing each product, you will discover a pure white plastic bottle with simple yet effective contrasting black text. The lid is crafted from wood with a gold-effect top (which also features the brand name using an embossed finish). In short, you will be more than happy (proud – in fact), to display this set in your bathroom cabinet.
Packaging
Although I already briefly touched on the overall packaging, I felt it needed its own section. The parcel arrived in an unassuming brown shipping box; lifting the lid reveals the brand logo in a splash of white, along with an abundance of shredded paper to protect the contents. Diving straight in, you will discover the three boxes of the set – each boasts a gleaming, bright white box with black text (and a touch of gold). You will also find a professionally printed leaflet that discusses the brand and its additional products.
Value For Money
There is no sugar coating the fact that the Beau Domaine Complete Routine commands a high-priced feed – sitting at around £222 (unless there is a discount available); however, if you opt for the subscription model, you can grab the kit for £177. Nevertheless, the quality of each part of the set (whether it is the cleansing emulsion, serum, or cream) is second-to-none – your skin will be in heaven each and every time you participate in your face care ritual.
Final Thoughts
If you are a keen advocate of great skincare for men, then you owe it to yourself to invest in the Beau Domaine Complete Routine.
