AllSaints 30th Anniversary Event Edinburgh
We recently attended a special Event at the AllSaints store in Edinburgh to celebrate the brand’s 30th Anniversary. Click through to find out more.
Time definitely flies when you think that AllSaints has been around since 1994! I personally remember their shop opening up in Birmingham at the tail end of the 90s – I’ve been a fan ever since! (Although one of my first purchases was a pair of black denim jeans coated in gold paint …a million miles away from their current fashionable styles).
AllSaints Edinburgh
Eve and I headed to the event in Edinburgh on Friday, September 13th. We arrived around 6 pm, shortly after the doors opened, and were greeted by the manager, Ross, who chatted with us and showed us around the store, showing us the latest collection for their 30th anniversary.
Even though I’ve always loved their clothing pieces, I haven’t been in one of their stores for many, many years now. That said, I was more than impressed with their current range, which mixes classic leathers, distressed knitwear, and a selection of cool boots and sneakers. Although, I must say, some of the items Eve checked out from the ladies’ department looked fantastic!
They had live music playing for entertainment, glasses of Prosecco and the option to customise your leather jackets for the evening in-store.
Leather Jacket Choices
I was also given the opportunity to choose one of their latest leathers—there were a lot of different options, and I was unsure what to go with. Then Eve saved the day and found the Alkan Two-Tone Leather jacket (zip-up style with heavy distressing), and as soon as I laid my eyes on it and tried it on (fortunately, they had an XS), my decision was made.
Eve chose a lovely olive suede jacket, and she looks absolutely gorgeous wearing it—it suits her style perfectly. Again, we got lucky and found her size (which is usually a difficult find!). Check out her site here – to check out her fantastic content.
We decided against the personalisation option for our jackets, instead taking a handful of their unique pin badges (30th-anniversary designs and their iconic Ramskull head).
Check out the photos in this article to see both of our looks snapped outside the store – the darkness started to set in, but we managed to grab some great shots of our outfits (even though the street outside started to get busy – Friday night, after all!).
What do you think of both of our looks? Are you a fan of the AllSaints brand? Please let us know your thoughts below.
