How To Style Brown Chelsea Boots For Winter
Leather Chelsea Boots are essential items for every man’s wardrobe, especially when the temperature drops. In my latest article, I will showcase an outfit that pairs these footwear classics with a cold-weather suitable ensemble. Continue reading for more.
When you need to venture outdoors during the winter season, it is absolutely vital that you wrap up warm and make sure your attire complements your chosen brown leather boots. In order to keep yourself warm and toasty, layering is the order of the day—knitwear, cardigans, coats, scarves, and gloves. Personally, the tail end of the year provides the best choices for style and versatility. In the next section, I will share my recent outfit while discussing outerwear, denim, and accessories.

Chelsea Boots And Overcoat Outfit
The number one top choice during those colder days is undoubtedly an overcoat. It combines a timeless style with a touch of finesse and warmth (which is crucial). Many colours are available, but my go-to would always be grey, black, brown, tan, or even olive (such as this Hockerty number).
For my outfit, I opted for a three-quarter-length charcoal overcoat, which features a secondary interior layer.
The coat should be slipped over a cosy knit to help contain the warmth—cable-knit style or turtle-neck (my favourite), which complements an overcoat flawlessly. My choice was a light-brown, fitted jumper with a roll-neck shape.

For footwear, I selected the Herring Shoes Coltham Hybrid-soled boots, which offer classic good looks that can be paired with anything (although formal styles are always top of the class). The quality of these shoes is top-notch, with a waxy brown calf leather upper and welted leather and rubber sole. Incidentally, I recently reviewed a pair of Herring Amalfi Trainers (click here to learn more).
Additionally, I wore skinny denim (washed black was my preference), which was totally complementary to the rest of the pieces. If solid black is not your thing, mix it up with grey, brown, or medium-washed blue for an added pop.
Finally, we have the accessories. This season, there are a vast number of options available, such as hats, scarves, gloves, and even bags. Choose hues that pair with your outfit (although you can brighten the proceedings with a dash of colour). I opted for a cashmere check scarf (in grey/black), also from Herring, and a grey wool flat cap and brown-leather gloves. Although, I included a pair of sunglasses (as the sun was glistening on this day!).

Photoshoot Location
For this look, I headed to the local woodland area, which is filled with the last remnants of autumn tones (as we head into Winter)—those yellow, orange, and red tones adding a lovely backdrop to the proceedings. I chose a walled area, complete with steps, for the images, with a large eye-catching tree proudly displaying its beauty in the distance.
