Salomon is a brand famed for creating a variety of sporting equipment since the 1940s—ski shoes, snowboards, running shoes, and even apparel, accessories, and bags. When it comes to footwear, they are definitely ahead of the curve, offering a wide variety of items for different conditions and sports types, all available in unique colourways and styles. Just a quick browse on their website will open up a whole world of choices and options for you, especially if you are heavily into exercise and fitness or enjoy casual sports activities.
In my latest feature, you can see one of their flagship pieces—the Salomon DRX Bliss. This shoe is the perfect addition to a runner’s wardrobe, thanks to its amazingly comfortable wear for heavy-impact workouts. The trainer features a solid, high sole elevating your feet from the ground (for extra protection) and an ‘active chassis’ design that guides your energy during your exercise regime.
The DRX Bliss is available in a variety of different colours (depending on your preference). I chose the sleek and eye-catching grey/white/orange combo, each colour complementing one another perfectly.
It is worth noting that even if you sometimes have issues with painful footwear (especially if you suffer from problematic feet), the Salomon are very spacious internally, so you can easily fit in extra comfort insoles for additional support during running—although, as they are incredibly comfortable out of the box, this may be necessary.
