Luisaviaroma Out Of Order Special Edition Watch
I’m a massive fan of watches! I’m always keeping an eye open for any hot new watch designs that appear on the market. Quirky quartz to classy automatic, anything goes when it comes to a cool looking horological time piece. One such watch that has recently grabbed my attention is the Out Of Order Special Edition Watch from Luisaviaroma.
This collaboration has been created by the world famous Florence store Luisaviaroma and the Italian watch brand Out Of Order, using their combined talents they have crafted something really special. Out Of Order is a relatively new company, trading since 2013. Clearly fans of vintage and distressing, they have based their entire collection in this style. In fact, each of their watches has been designed to have a worn and used look straight from the box! No more worrying about any unwanted dings and dents from careless behaviour, on the contrary any additional damage will only add to the character of the watch! Something I certainly approve of, I’m guilty of more than a few accidents with my current watches.
This special edition model has a gorgeous oxidised finished stainless steel casing with a beige and brown face, matched with a suitably worn brown leather strap which complements the design perfectly. Internally the watch contains a Miyota 8217 Japanese automatic movement to ensure you never lose a second in this fast paced world we live in. Emblazoned across the face is the text ‘Damaged In Italy’ their signature strapline which is common across all of their products, another brilliant little touch that only adds to the allure of these beautiful time pieces. Now firmly on my radar, I will certainly be looking to add one of these watches to my collection in the future, so be on the look out for future posts on my men’s fashion blog.
