Continuing with my never ending quest to search out exciting and unusual watches, I came across something rather eye catching, boasting a significant and unique design idea. I caught a glimpse of the brand South Lane during my regular Instagram browsing and was instantly a fan!

Gritty is the first word that springs to mind when describing the South Lane Avant Zip Watches; dark and edgy is the theme which features throughout the collection with an emphasis on bold black and white. However, the most striking characteristic which first piqued my interest is the inclusion of a zip along the edge of the leather strap, certainly something you don’t see every day!

South Lane prides itself on their quality, the conjoining of Swiss watch craftsmanship, Italian leather expertise, and Swedish design safely ensures a deluxe luxury product. In horological years they are a relatively young brand, founded in 2011 in Stockholm, yet have have continued to revolutionise watch design.
