Brand Feature – Weekend Offender
Do you like menswear that combines effortless style and excellent functionality? Then check out my latest fashion feature, in which I examine several pieces from the UK brand Weekend Offender.
Weekend Offender was launched in 2004 by Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell (from just outside of Cardiff, Wales). They started out with a handful of T-shirt designs and have since expanded to a full range of clothing pieces, including jackets, jumpers, shorts, and accessories. Their reach is worldwide, and they supply over 90 countries with their unique style of clothing.
For my introduction to the brand, I had the pleasure of checking out a number of items from their latest collection – Gilet, T-shirts and shorts.
After tearing into the package, I was delighted to see incredible products that ooze quality (apparent just from brushing my fingertips across the fabric).
Starting off, we have their superb T-shirt section—from simple (yet effective branded designs) to superbly designed graphic prints. For my choices, I picked out a grey and a brown tee featuring the brand name (and also a sleek check effect along the shoulders).
My clothing item of choice all year round (evening the winter!) is shorts, so I jumped straight in to check out the Weekend Offender selection. The brand offers several different styles, from cargo to jersey. I picked out a tan colour and a bold white (both featuring a hint of subtle branding).
Finally, I completed my haul with a sleek tan gilet—the perfect accompaniment to throw over casual tees to keep warm when the temperature drops in the evening. The sleeveless zip-up can be found tucked away in the brand’s outerwear section, which is filled to the rafters with sleek-looking jackets and windbreakers.
