Blue Suit With Black Skinny Jeans Outfit
Something a little different for my latest outfit post, whereas usually I can be seen in more casual attire, today I opted for an extreme opposite by wearing a suit! I thought it was time to mix up my style somewhat and broaden my horizons on my mens fashion blog.
I’ve always admired the classic look of a suit, especially when it is accompanied with a matching waistcoat. But due to my fussiness with fit, my few dalliances in the past have been so unsatisfactory I usually just forget about the idea and revert to my casual style, almost guaranteeing a better and slimmer fit. So once again, my interest in mens suits had gained momentum and I ended up trying a blazer and waistcoat. I choose the House Of Cavani Ford Suit which is stunning and vibrant blue colour, in the daylight it truly sparkled! Trying on the jacket for the first time, I was quite surprised by how well it fitted, particularly around the shoulders and arms, even the sleeve length was perfect (something which can destroy my love of a jacket in an instant). Definitely happy with my suit acquisition, I can see this being a gateway to wearing another suit outfit in a future post.
I chose my J Brand Maria Seriously Black Women’s Skinny Jeans as an alternative to trousers to get that slim silhouette visual I required. These jeans have a level of comfort that is superior to most of its rivals and the colour certainly lives up to its name! They are indeed ‘seriously black’. I decided on my Kurt Geiger Black Suede Chelsea Boots to complete the ensemble. Unfortunately as these were released last year, they are no longer available. However, if you shop around you can find some amazing alternative Chelsea Boot choices.
Finally I wore a new accessory item – Atolyestone Lapis Lazuli Eagle Beaded Bracelet. It boasts a stunning blue colour with hints of purple which have a deep almost mesmerising effect as you gaze into them. Its shade complemented the rest of my outfit perfectly! The bracelet also features an eagles head crafted from solid silver, adding a touch of uniqueness to the design. The brand – is located in London on Regent Street, shared with some of the highest level jewellery makers in the world. The quality of this piece continues this tradition, expertly created without even the smallest hint of flaws. The bracelet slips on smoothly (they offer each piece in a selection of sizes) and is incredibly comfortable. It certainly livens up any outfit and sits comfortably next to a watch (such as my ever reliable Omega Aqua Terra Seamaster) or other pieces of jewellery. Atolyestone have a huge range of products available, so many in fact I was actually spoilt for choice! But my love of purple was the final deciding factor.
So what do you think of my first suit outfit on my mens fashion blog? Please let me know in the comments below!
