Levi’s Sherpa Cord Jacket Outfit
This new outfit post will be one of my final pre-cold weather looks for this year, taken in mid-October before the temperature began to drop. Even so, it is an outfit which could easily keep those winter chills at bay.
This was the first time wearing my new Levi’s Type 3 Sherpa Cord Tan Jacket, I’ve always wanted one after seeing a certain top male blogger wearing one last year (coincidentally, also during the tail end of the year). This year I decided to be ready and snap one up as soon as possible! I chose the smallest available size (small) for a slimmer fit, which gives me the option to wear it with both a T-Shirt or a sweater if the weather outside calls for an extra layer. I also spent some time deliberating back and forth between either the grey or the tan, finally swaying towards the latter because of it’s more timeless appeal.
This is also the very first outing in a brand new pair of denim, adding to my collection of women’s skinny jeans for men outfit choices. The pair in question is the Le Skinny De Jeanne in Westwell from Frame, which boasts one of the best light blue washes I have seen in a long time. This is even more apparent as they sold out fast! However, I have now added Frame to my popular denim brands list (I am already hunting for future pairs).
I included my new favourite footwear items in my outfit, featured previously in my Common Projects Chelsea Boots Review blog post. They have been a revelation for me in terms of comfort and wearability, most of the designer shoes I have encountered have not been so forgiving with heavy wear. Side note, it was quite difficult to reach that ledge to sit on in these photos! My main worry was keeping my jeans and boots safe from scuffs and damage, thankfully I am happy to report it was a successful mission!
