Issey Miyake is a world-renowned Japanese fashion house, but its range of premium perfumes is arguably what it is most well known for (in fact, I can remember some of my friends, back in the day, regularly wearing one of their fragrances to much acclaim by everyone in the group, and beyond). This release (which launched in 2025) features a sleek, stylish, and very minimalistic bottle, almost totally transparent, except for a subtle gradient effect in silver/grey along the glass, and featuring the brand logo and perfume name. The aesthetically pleasing design is completed with a matching gun-metal lid.
Even though the packaging is certainly eye-catching, it is the fragrance within that we need to talk about! It blends top notes of incense, salt accord, and ginger; heart notes of marine seaweed and sand vetiver; and base notes of oakmoss, cedarwood, and amber accord, creating a delicious sensory concoction—the perfect accompaniment to your autumn outfits. Whether you need to go to the office (for another busy day), head to the local shopping centre for a browse and a coffee, or hit the town with friends, this scent will be an excellent choice.
