McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands Review

Shopping for designer clothing is both exciting and relaxing, especially if you require a touch of retail therapy to lift those blues! The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands offers a multitude of famous brands in one location, giving shoppers an amazing experience! I’ll take you on a tour of the shopping centre in my latest blog post review.

Check out the McArthurGlen West Midlands Designer Outlet Here

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands opened its doors to the public in April of 2021 to a fanfare of success with both customers and the media. The centre boasts a vast range of iconic fashion brands such as Boss, Levi’s, and Tommy Hilfiger, bolstered with a range of restaurants for dining and drinks after a long shopping day! For those with children, the outlet offers a uniquely designed children’s adventure playground to keep them busy while the parents get their luxury fashion fix! The centre is also proud of its sustainability practice using solar panel systems, electric car charging ports, bicycle parking, and no fewer than 400 freshly planted trees.

I’m excited to show you around the West Midlands addition to the McArthurGlefamily in the following review.

I arrived early in the morning at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet and was greeted by a stunning arched clocktower doubling as an entrance with the company logo emblazoned across the front. Stepping beyond this first structure, I was instantly greeted with the first of many designer stores that were seemingly endless as I strolled through the centre’s walkways.

The building walls are built using a range of clean and cool tones of bright whites and subtle beiges, all easy on the eye. There are benches aplenty to ensure the many patrons have a handy seat to rest before continuing their shop fest! Meanwhile, there are dozens of potted plants and beautiful Victorian-inspired lamp posts dotted around to really give the outside mall a homely family feel.

Every member of staff I encountered was super friendly, and a special mention must go out to one of the on-site security guys who assisted me on my shoot!

I toured the entire length and width of the designer outlet with my favourite highlights including Levi’s, Reiss, Boss and Lindt, to satisfy that sweet tooth! But every store I visited was a delight. I finished the day with a trip to Five Guys to fill up on burgers and fries to regain energy lost from all that intense shopping.

In terms of shops, I have listed a few of the top designer fashion stores below so you can get a feel of the place before visiting.

Levi’s

Everyone’s favourite denim store was well and fully stocked here, offering a huge range of jeans, jackets and cool T-shirts all at a nicely discounted rate.

Calvin Klein

The iconic CK brand was positioned nicely in the centre’s central area, bathed in glorious white. Once inside, you can find a mix of current season items and past collections, all with a hugely attractive price point.

Sunglass Hut

One of my favourite stores is Sunglass Hut; after all, who doesn’t like a fresh pair of shades for the summer? Brilliant range of high-end brands such as Ray-Ban, Dior and Burberry.

Reiss

The successful British brand Reiss is well catered for at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, with their infamous knits, shirts and coats all well showcased in their store.

Boss

Possibly one of, if not the biggest designer brand on offer, takes pride of place close to the entrance and opposite a handy coffee shop! Boss has included a full selection of pieces from their casual sports collection to their premium tailoring section of suits, shirts and ties.

Tommy Hilfiger

The well renowned iconic Tommy brand (which received a huge boost in recent years thanks to the popularity of 90s fashion) is fully stacked at the outlet. Many of Hilfiger’s popular items are available, along with a range of more fashion-forward pieces to part you from your well-earned cash.

Kurt Geiger

If footwear is on your hit-list to buy, then KG is always a top choice (I’ve owned many of their shoes and boots over the years), and when available at a discount price, even better value for money! Well worth checking them out.

Moss Bros

If suits are your game, then check out Moss Bros, featuring a fantastic selection of two-piece and three-piece suits all in a variety of different fabrics, including cotton, wool, tweed and even linen for the upcoming summer season! The brand has been on their A-game for a while now, and their success is only going up!
