Randies is a newly launched brand whose ethos is to craft fantastic-looking underwear that ticks those style boxes but is also incredibly comfy to wear all day long. Ricky Knight (CEO and founder) launched the brand as he felt the market needed a change, as many brands (even the big household names) were continually selling the same products over and over again, using tired old fabrics and production techniques. Ricky brought in experts in the field (including founders from Sweaty Betty) to bring this new collection to the table.
In my following review, I’m happy to be able to focus my thoughts on both their short-leg and long-leg pieces to get a complete picture of their collection.
Style & Design
The Randies underwear’s design instantly gives a sleek, smart and modern vibe – simple, plain colours with only a touch of branding (a small logo on the front and a larger one on the rear waistband). The boxer trunk shorts are available in long and short varieties (interestingly, I possibly even like the longer model more, despite typically preferring shorter legs) in a selection of colourways – black, blue, grey and classic white.
The black and blue models are totally solid colour, whereas the grey and white offer a contrasting black waistband to mix it up. All of their styles are equally good, ensuring you look the part (well, as long as it is a suitable occasion to be seen wearing your pants!) I’m sure your partner will love them too!
Construction
Many hours and energy were spent making Randies underwear, using new-age processes to craft the final products. The quality is top-notch, with no flaws or miss-stitching on show. Additionally, here are the features within each pair –
TheTackleBag – This newly designed pouch ensures total comfort and hold, keeping everything held together nicely (the brand even states that it provides ‘all day cupping).
HyperSoft Fabric – Each pair offers Temperature regulating, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial soft fabric that holds its shape all day long (say goodbye to baggy and saggy undies!).
Comfort
Thanks to the super-soft fabric, this underwear is a joy to wear! As soon as you slip them on, it feels heavenly (for want of a better word). Even worn all day (which I have many times since receiving them), they are so comfortable no matter what activities you are pursuing that day.
