Double Denim In Grey And Black

Double Denim In Grey And Black

For my latest blog post, I am wearing one of my favourite colour combinations of grey and blue – read on to find out more!

Grey is a clothing colour which has always been featured heavily in my wardrobe; in fact, years ago it regularly was my go-to colour, for well, anything and everything! In later years, I have taken a step back from that monochromatic look, although I still have a large selection of clothes which are noticeably within the grey spectrum of colours. Blue, of course, is something which nearly every man has an abundance of (particularly if they are a fan of denim!) but for me, it largely consists of a few key pieces.

Outfit

Breaking down the outfit reveals a classic Levi’s Trucker Denim Jacket, which was one of their updated variants from early 2019 boasting a lighter fabric more suited to the hotter days of summer, excellent fit and one of my favourites! For me, Levi’s always excel with their jackets and hardly ever make a misstep. Underneath the jacket, I opted for an off white henley shirt, which I felt mixed it up enough compared to a typical simple T-shirt.

For the denim jeans it was only ever going to be my J Brand Maria in Dove Grey – the very best grey denim wash I have ever seen (sadly they have been discontinued, I always planned to grab a backup!). When it comes to the footwear, it is my sadly underused pair of Golden Goose Slide High Top Sneakers – I love these, but for whatever reason they often get left on the shelf in favour of my low top Superstar Goose, I need to make a valiant effort to wear them more!

To finish off the look for my men’s style blog I picked out a selection of accessories (my new obsession!) – rings from Gone.Archive, Emanuelle Biccochi and Pearls Before Swine. Adorned on my wrist was a Marco Dal Maso cuff and finally a watch from Mind The Strap (suitably in grey and white).

Location

For these images, we headed to a quieter area of Bath, just out of the way of the local hotels and restaurants, with some eye-catching pillars for company …ideal to get the look I desired for these shots!
