Linen Shirt, Denim And Boots – Summer Smart Casual Outfit

Unfortunately, due to a few personal circumstances that happened at the start of the year, my outfit posts have been somewhat lacking. As we are well passed the middle of the year, I now plan to get everything all back on track and begin posting much more regularly again.
For this look, I’ve opted for a slightly smarter ensemble combined with casual pieces. Namely, a formal style navy shirt paired with washed black denim jeans and a pair of Chelsea boots. A timeless outfit which is just as on-trend now as it will be in a few years to come.
Outfit
For the outfit breakdown, it consists of a navy linen shirt, which incidentally features a more structured fabric than the typical standard linen often used by many brands on the market. The jeans are my go-to pair of washed black denim from Nudie Jeans in the Skinny Lin cut. For the boots, I picked out my Common Projects Chelsea Boots (I need to make a mental note to myself to wear them more often!). I completed the look with a selection of accessories – beige belt from Aurelian and Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses.
Location
Once again, I headed to the cityscapes of Birmingham as a suitable backdrop for the images. The tall stone buildings paired well with my smart casual outfit.
