Harber London Leather MacBook Envelope Sleeve Case Review
Protecting your laptop from daily wear and tear is something invaluable in the hustle and bustle of a hectic lifestyle. Not only is it a necessity to keep your kit safe, but also ensuring it looks aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Harber London has somehow managed to combine both, which leads on to my latest blog post in which I review the Leather MacBook Envelope Case Sleeve.
Harber is a London based company founded in 2012 who’s designs are based around simplicity yet effective style within their range of leather goods. Their vision was to create a brand which had beautiful laptop sleeves and cases, readily available to consumers. Design
The MacBook sleeve is instantly eye-catching with its contrasting tan leather sleeve, and charcoal grey wool felt body, something that will surely stand out during your work commute and office meetings.
The flap is crafted using premium full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, which has the added benefit of gaining a unique and individual look during the natural ageing process as you use the sleeve regularly. The flap itself has an upside-down triangular shape, with a metal fastener to click the flap shut.
The main body of the sleeve is created using a 100% wool felt. Not only is it soft to the touch, but it also has other numerous hidden benefits – anti-static, moisture resistant, self-extinguishing and repels soiling naturally. It is also eco-friendly and renewable.
Size & Shape
The size of the case was to fit my MacBook 13 inch laptop and is the typical rectangular shape as you would expect. The device is safe and secure inside the case, with the felt offering a high level of protection. The list of sizes for the various MacBook’s and their model types is below.

Features
The MacBook sleeve boasts a minimalistic design, but also offers a scratch-free interior to protect your pride and joy. Often rival brands have a much more rough lining which runs the risk of damaging the casing of your laptop. Its slim design ensures your device is easy to carry around and store when not in use. Harber London also chooses the less is more way of thinking when it comes to branding, with only a small amount of text visible. There is an embossed effect of the logo and name on the front of the leather flap, opening the sleeve you will find a much smaller leather tab on the inside of the felt which features the same logo and name branding.
Value For Money
The prices of the sleeves start from £59 for the smallest MacBook Air with the largest MacBook 16″ Pro coming in at a £75 price point.
My 13″ MacBook Pro sits in the middle at £69. In terms of cost, it is a very competitive price, especially compared to many competitors with the added benefit of offering stunning design and high-quality materials and construction values.
