Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Dip Effect Sneakers

I’m a big fan of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, owning a pair myself (reviewed here) and also featuring their new cut out styles in a recent post. However, when browsing their online store recently, I can safely say I’m on the fence about them!

From first glance, they have the look of your typical pair of Golden Goose sneakers, including all the bells and whistles they are famous for! Heavy distressing and a sleek design! Yet, upon closer inspection this particular model boasts something very unique, in fact, I can safely state I have never seen this on a pair of sneakers before!

The shoes appear to have had a large amount of translucent coloured rubber material poured right on top of them (or the shoes were dipped into the substance) and then left to stand to dry. If you look towards the bottom of the shoes, you will see where this ‘dip’ has actually dried solid even whilst it was still dripping wet!

Personally, I am on the fence with this vision! Yet, you cannot accuse the brand of playing it safe! They are definitely the most unusual pair of men’s shoes available this season, but are they actually wearable? Please let me know in the comments below, your thoughts and opinions!
