I’m always excited to see a brand new watch design, so when WT Author announced their limited edition Nº 1968 phantom automatic driving watch, I was thrilled to take a look! Read on for more.
The Nº 1968 phantom is part of the brand’s seventh collection, marking the 1968 World Championship motor racing season. The watch is constructed using an automatic hand-wound mechanical mechanism, featuring a multitude of features, including a quick date setting, stop second device, unidirectional rotating bezel and many more!

The watch is undoubtedly gorgeous to look at, bathed in a mix of polished and brushed metals with a two-tone yellow and racing green colour scheme across the bezel. Each gift box includes both a leather strap and a metal bracelet (depending on your preference).
Each watch is hand-crafted in their homegrown UK workshop in Shropshire, built to order using British and imported parts. Extremely limited to only 52 pieces, be sure to grab yours will they are still available to order!
