Style & Design
The La Galea set includes both a neck-tie and handkerchief, which is bathed in a striking navy blue and complementary silver/grey, featuring a monogram style with the Paladini ‘P’ and a Galea helmet (from the Roman army). The pocket square also includes an additional border effect, which can be visible depending on how you fold and wear it.
Wearability
This beautiful silk combo can be paired with almost any shirt and jacket ensemble; the navy blue colouring blends well with numerous other hues and shades. In the summery seasons, you could opt for light tones such as beige, tan, or light grey, and during the winter, style the set with matching dark blue, brown, or even black (I myself paired them with a dark blue tweed blazer and flat cap with a royal blue button-up shirt).
Packaging
The La Galea set arrives in a solid gift box constructed in black with a gold foil ‘P’ on the front, and a magnetic closure flap opens to show its contents surrounded in branded craft paper. The set slips out of this wrapping easily, revealing the neck-tie and handkerchief neatly folded and held in place with a slip of navy fabric tied in a bow. Paladini shows the way all premium items should be delivered.
Quality
The production values of the Paladini gift set are remarkable – 100% silk has been used throughout, which is just a joy to hold (and to wear). They are entirely hand-made with a flawless construction with not even a loose thread to be seen.
